Considering the motto “When digitalization contributes to sustainability” Siempelkamp team
participated in the international LIGNA trade fair, where they warmly welcomed visitors and initiated
intensive exchange with customers from all over the world. LIGNA was a significant success for the team
as the Siempelkamp booth was one of the most visited booths that housed potential excitement during
the Experience Walk and Expert talk. The unity of the international teams and Siempelkamp
management paired with constant contribution of the founding family established the 140 years old
family-owned company as one of the best innovation driver in the market. The company yet again
hoisted the flag of their legacy at the LIGNA 2023 mega trade fair by demonstrating their position as the
influential innovation driver, inspiring the megatrends with solutions.

Siempelkamp’s impressive new booth had all the answers for the visitors who came in with questions
regarding the essential future trends for the wood-based panel industry. The representatives at the
booth even gave helpful direction to the visitor’s search of research-efficient production processes and
digital concepts, with the available information. The main focus of the presentation was resource
efficiency, environmental technology, and recycling “engineered by Siempelkamp”, while the Krefeld-
based technology supplier also emphasized its new platform “IQ”, which integrates all digital processes
and tools over the life cycle of a plant. The plant operators at the Hanover Fair were also attracted to
the latest version of Siempelkamp’s reference product, the ContiRoll® Generation 9i.

All the components of the campaign displayed at the fair converged around one term and that is
transformation. For Siempelkamp matters like Digitalization and sustainability, efficiency and process
optimization form the impetus to set the course for future innovative viability in its core market with
potential vigour. Over five days a committed team, the newly composed management board, and the
Siempelkamp family united at LIGNA 2023 to execute their duties diligently to pave better future for the
company. Throughout the occasion Dr. Dieter Siempelkamp, managing director of the third generation
and honorary chairman on the advisory board of G. Siempelkamp GmbH & Co. KG, was represented on
site with other family members, to make the occasion a fruitful chance to strengthen the company’s
business links.
