Siempelkamp usher in digital presence with exploreSiempelkamp pre-opening phase from September 24. The digital platform exploreSiempelkamp welcomes visitors to the most awaited trade fair for the wood-based panels industry with a pre-opening. Two livestreamings during LIGNA on September 28 and 29 further welcomes visitors to engage in direct dialogue.
“The countdown is on, in just a few days, LIGNA.IN will open its doors – this year as a new digital format. Naturally, our virtual Siempelkamp team will be there as well. And we hope you will be, too. We’d be happy to connect and exchange ideas during these three days!”
At the upcoming LIGNA.Innovation Network Siempelkamp strengthens its digital campaign around the megatrends sustainability, digitalization as well as the core competence “one-stop-shop” and is looking forward to welcoming LIGNA visitors with new, exciting content.
This digital event commencing on September 24 right before the beginning of the first ever edition of LIGNA.Innovation network, exploreSiempelkamp goes live and establishes the direct connection to Siempelkamp products and technologies. Prominent guest speakers also invite visitors to take “Explore now!” literally in many multimedia presentations. For example, Prof. Dr. Thomas Bauernhansl, Director of the Fraunhofer Institute for Manufacturing Engineering and Automation in Stuttgart, shares his visions on the topic of digitalization and Big Data management. Dr. Michael Schöler, head of Siempelkamp Research and Development, meets Prof. Dipl.-Ing. Torsten Leps, specialist for materials science in the field of wood and wood-based materials at the TH Rosenheim, for a future talk. Both are discussing the future of the wood-based panels industry and the question of what options sustainability and resource efficiency hold for the industry.
In the exhibitor live streaming of the live event, the company is also represented with two sessions: One livestreaming covers the topic “sustainability and annual plants”. Another focuses on future-oriented Siempelkamp concepts such as the digital control system ProdIQ®, condition monitoring and steel belt monitoring. Here it becomes apparent how Siempelkamp sets the basis for intelligent and highly efficient production processes.
