Domotex asia/CHINAFLOOR is all set for a dedicated outlook

Domotex-Asia-20123-680x320The floor covering industry will meet in Shanghai to see the hottest products and innovations in Asian floorings at DOMOTEX asia/CHINAFLOOR which will take place during March 22 to 24, 2016. This year’s show has attracted over 1300 exhibitors spread out in 12 exhibition halls covering a gross exhibition area of 140,000 square meters. As of March 15, the number of pre-registered professional visitors reached 32,987 attendees from over 100 countries, an increase of 12.4% from the same period last year.

 

Competitive Products

The organizers of DOMOTEX asia/CHINAFLOOR have made the principles of innovation and environmental protection primary driving themes of the show. Programs such as InnovAction and the GreenStep Asia Awards were designed to showcase new products that support these principals. Each year an increasing number of enterprises following these principals use the show to launch their products to the global market. This makes DOMOTEX asia/CHINAFLOOR THE PLACE in Asia Pacific to both market and to discover innovative and environmentally friendly flooring products.

 

As the show continues promoting environmental sustainability by organizing once again the Green Step Asia Awards in cooperation with Floor Covering Weekly, it gives flooring exhibitors a chance to showcase their sustainable development at all levels.  The competition is open to any manufacturer in the world who has manufacturing facilities in Asia where they apply the principles of environmental sustainability. The goal of this environmental Awards program is to support and promote those efforts and give Asian suppliers the credit and recognition they deserve. An authoritative and unbiased international jury composed by experts of some of the world’s most influential associations and media in the industry will judge and award the most remarkable green commitments in Asia.

 

InnovAction will hold its 4th edition in 2016 covering 439 new products from 327 companies which will compete to win one of the 2016 Top 10 New Products Awards. This campaign creates an opportunity for exhibitors to maximize their brand’s exposure to both domestic and overseas markets by presenting their environmental friendly, innovative and most technologically advanced new product.

 

A Focus on trending topic

At the same time, DOMOTEX asia/CHINAFLOOR is expanding its focus and starts operating not only as a trading platform, but as a pool of industry information as well. Concurrent events alongside related industries increase the opportunity for knowledge exchange, education, cross marketing and networking among commercial industries that manufacture, sell, specify and use flooring products. These concurrent professional forums include events such as the World Flooring Forum, the China International WPC Development Forum, the Materia Exhibition, the cadex exhibition and many others. •    One day before the official opening of its 18th edition, the organizers of DOMOTEX asia/CHINAFLOOR along with China National Forestry Industry Association are hosting the international Wood Flooring Forum 2016. The Forum will give wood flooring manufacturers, buyers and associations an overview of the opportunities and obstacles in the international wood flooring market addressing forces such as legal, trade and environmental issues affecting the flooring industry.

•    The 11th edition of the China International WPC Development Forum, the leading event attracting participants from all around the world, provides the most international context on understanding the WPC industry. China International WPC Development Forum provides a broad based forum for companies processing, fabricating or selling plastics products that are looking to explore or expand their businesses and to identify new opportunities.

•    Materia exhibition brings once more the newest material innovations from around the world for a more beautiful, sustainable and high-quality building environment.

•    cadex, the exclusive event for architecture and design will be launched for the first time parallel to DOMOTEX asia/CHINAFLOOR, expecting more than 8,000 architects, interior designers and property developers such as Zaha, Hadid, SOM, Atkins and many other top companies in their fields.

 

International Quality Buyers

In 2016, several dedicated international buyers delegations enhance the show’s international role in the global flooring industry.  A North American distributor delegation is hosted for the first time, where hand-picked delegates will meet with peers from China and Asia, preview new products and technologies, tour manufacturing sites and learn about conducting business with Asian partners.

 

At the same time two hosted buyer programs for bamboo flooring and a handmade carpets one will bring professionals from all around the world to conduct B2B meetings with exhibiting manufacturers in an effort to enhance their business dealings and brand promotion. A delegation of architects from Malaysia is invited to attend the show to expand the business cooperation and get an insight from one of the country’s most important architectural institutes. Last but not least, a Japanese delegation with some of the biggest names of the Japanese furniture retailer scene will be holding professional meetings with some of the show’s exhibitors during the three days of the show.
