More than 800 participants gathered in Warsaw for the fifth edition of the “Forum of Good Design” on December 6, this time in a beautiful Art Deco building. Around 50 speakers gave lectures and there were many interesting workshops. Schattdecor was also there: Miłosz Matelski, Manager Design and Marketing, and designer Joanna Misiun Designer presented our trend theme AGELESS LIVING.
Miłosz Matelski and Joanna Misiun emphasized during their presentation that current consumers between 50 and 60+ are very active, engaged and modern. They are called “new old” instead of pensioners.
“Demographic change means saying goodbye to classic aging. People today do not want to be content with aging in their comfort zone. They live a young, modern lifestyle, are open to new things and are interested in new technologies to experience more in the analog world. They bring competencies. ”
For the furniture industry, these people mean competent and conscious customers who expect quality and functionality from furniture products: It should not only look beautiful but also be comfortable! The living space is no longer reserved for individual functions or activities, but is used multifunctional. Much of it is about dark colors, fine stone structures, metal surfaces and dark wood tones in oak or walnut.
