Schattdecor declares changes in their Executive Board

Schattdecor SE has recently announced the changes of their Executive Board and Supervisory Board. These changes include some important personnel transposes to the Executive Board.

The Schattdecor SE Supervisory Board has resolved to renew the management agreement with Michael Then, the Chief Production Officer, originally signed in 2021, for an additional three years. Michael Then has been a dedicated and knowledgeable member of the Schattdecor Group since 1998, serving in numerous capacities. Prior to his current role as production director, he served as the head of surface production.

“We are grateful for his outstanding commitment and look forward to continuing our successful collaboration,” said Reiner Schulz, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Schattdecor SE.

Frank Schumacher, who has headed the sales and strategic purchasing departments as a member of the board since September 1, 2019, is leaving Schattdecor SE for personal reasons and by mutual agreement on March 31, 2024. “Under his leadership of sales and strategic purchasing, the company has achieved significant success. They would like to express their sincere thanks to Mr. Schumacher and wish him all the best and, above all, good health for his personal future,” said Reiner Schulz.

To maintain leadership stability while also introducing fresh momentum, Roland Auer will assume the role of CEO in charge of sales, and Michael Then will be responsible for overseeing strategic purchasing.

With these changes, Schattdecor sees itself well equipped to continue to operate successfully on the market.

Being one of the renowned industry professionals, Schattdecor further develops their energy efficiency strategy, with which they have been able to reduce their energy consumtion by 17% since 2015, they are setting new standards with energy efficiency plus, especially with regard to further consistent emission reductions.

Schattdecor has a plan for 2026 to execute sustainability from the inside out. The innovation program forms the strategic basis for the path to greenhouse gas neutrality. It involves employees in the implementation of the sustainability concept and gives them space for their own expert ideas. The measures will be implemented from the beginning of 2026.
