Schattdecor AG has announced that the company’s Supervisory Board appointed Dr. Derick Beitel, Head of Finance at Schattdecor since November 2021, as the new CFO and successor with effect from January 1, 2023. He will be succeeding Mr. Dieter Hüttlinger, who will retire at the end of 2022. Throughout his 25-year career with Schattdecor, Hüttlinger spent six of those years serving on the board and managing the finance department.
Dr. Derick Beitel has worked with Schattdecor’s finance division since November 2021. Prior to that, he spent more than 20 years working in corporate finance and active M&A for a large worldwide industrial corporation. Dr. Derick Beitel obtained his PhD from the University of Witten/Herdecke after completing his business administration studies at the Universities of Mannheim and McMaster (Canada).
