DREMASILESIA 2024 came to a successful end, marking its return on the show floor after a five year break. It was also the first event in the DREMA TOUR series, covering a series of 3 events taking place in Katowice (DREMASILESIA), Poznań (DREMA) and Lublin (LUBDREW). This time the event gathered 45 exhibitors on an area of 1,200 m2.. During its three fair days, DREMASILESIA Fair was visited by representatives of the wood and furniture industry and small craft workshops from Poland, the Czech Republic, Denmark and Belarus. Demonstrations of machines, tools, power tools and a program of accompanying events entertained the fair guests.
FAIR
During the event, the offer of machine manufacturers for the woodworking and furniture industries, as well as carpentry shops, was presented. The exhibitors offering a wide range of machines and devices included companies such as Felder, Lazzoni Group, and REMA, which managed to sell two sliding table saws during the fair.
Visitors got the chance to be acquainted with the company’s offer and saw machines for the production of granulates at the BMG PELLETING stand. CRAFTDREW presented wood gluing presses, varnishing trolleys, carpentry transport trolleys and clamps.
The leader of the tools market, ITA TOOLS, presented a wide range of innovative, professional cutting tools that are delivered to thousands of companies from around the world, helping customers improve and optimize production processes.
There were also representatives of the producers of TOP SOLUTIONS furniture design programs, NESTRO brand dust removal systems and TECHNOSPARK spark extinguishing systems.
The stands of companies offering power tools and hand tools were very popular: FESTOOL, VIRUTEX, PREBENA, ISKRA. These companies organized practical demonstrations of the working capabilities of the devices they offer. There was great interest in the shows organized by FESTOOL and ISKRA. The offer of power tools was complemented by a wide range of backpacks, bags, boxes and tool belts offered by the TORBY TOOLS company.
Traditionally, there were stands of our media patrons: INWESTOR Publishing House and KURIER DRZEWNY.
HOWS AS PART OF DREMA TOUR.
The biggest attraction for visitors was the live furniture factory launched by Lazzoni Group. The company presented a set of machines enabling the entire cabinet production process, from cutting, through gluing, to drilling. The exhibited machines included: the WPS 332 F sliding table saw, the WCG 3020LA CNC center for nesting, the WEG-700S automatic edge bander with a double glue group, as well as multi-spindle drilling machines designed for smaller productions: Expert M2.21, Lazzoni BS 21 and ExpertMH
For lovers of handmade furniture, in cooperation with The Tools Magazine and the Narzędzioholicy.pl group, a zone of original furniture was created. In a space of over 250 m2, the “special tasks team” produced a shelf according to its own design.
DREMA TOUR ACADEMY
As part of the DREMA TOUR ACADEMY project, expert lectures were prepared, conducted in cooperation with the Association of Producers of Woodworking Machines, Devices and Tools DROMA, ITA TOOLS SA and TENKA.
The DROMA Association presented a lecture on opportunities and threats for the Polish industry of machining machines and tools.
Lectures prepared by ITA Tools Sp. z o. o. presented knowledge on the use of composite materials in the furniture industry and tools for their processing. ITA TOOLS also presented a lecture on the construction, types and applications of circular saws. In the third part of the Drema Tour Academy, Łukasz Szczęsny – owner of TENKA, presented the development of the product offer in the furniture and wood industry, and also answered the questions.
