Groundbreaking features of today’s iBotic, our Cartesian spray robot launched in 2006 and still a benchmark in the industry, include an intuitive HMI, an internal camera, tracking mode, energy retrieval mechanisms to power the exhaust fans, interpolated axes, guns that spray parallel to the conveyor belt and TIMESKIP, the patented device requiring zero downtime for on-the-fly colour changeovers.

Moving on with higher volumes, continuous spraying is possible thanks to the two arms which also function independently of one another to move through pieces in a constant flow. And if you need to change colour regularly without interrupting production, the latest innovation will come in handy. TIMESKIP allows you to maintain production with one arm while you switch lacquer colour on the other. This leads to effectively no downtime and can increase your production time by up to one and a half hours daily.
Incomparable quality
Interpolated axis means you can use the two arms on iBotic without ever risking them colliding in the spraying area. This increases productivity, but when it comes to quality, the reason behind iBotic’s unbeatable standards is due to the 5 axes along which the arms travel, including the horizontal position achieved to spray panel edges. Full electronic control thanks to our latest-generation software which is easy to program and use even for complex trajectories.

During the show, we will be demonstrating this machine in a line also featuring Exydry-Z, our excimer matting oven for the deep matt finish on raised panels and other complex shapes.
