What does it take to produce safe wooden packaging efficiently and profitably? This is what the 2023 Packaging Days at WEINIG in Illertissen is all about. Despite the shortage of skilled workers, companies can set themselves up for the future through digitalised processes, whilst increasing their added value and strengthening their competitiveness.
Practical examples of successful modernisation of previously “completely analogue” production facilities and their conversion to digitalised processes will be on the agenda of the Packaging Days.
A OptiCut S90 XL high-performance cross-cut system with automatic de-stacking and stacking machines as well as a range of 21 other machines will be on display at the ExpoCenter in Illertissen to give participants at the 2023 Packaging Days an overview of the technical and economical production settings offered by modern solid wood processing.
Current developments will be highlighted in presentations by experts of the German Packaging Association HPE and other specialists. In live demonstrations, WEINIG will also show how lengths and widths can be precisely cut and cross-cut processes be digitally optimised.
Numerous guest exhibitors from related production areas showcase additional equipment that turns cut to-size timber into complete pallets and packaging.
With practical concepts and suitable technologies, WEINIG has proven to be the competent partner of packaging manufacturers, so that:
