An arrival designed to set the tone
From the moment guests arrive, 1587 Prime sets out to tell a story – one inspired by America’s favourite pastime and elevated through contemporary design. The experience begins at the grand entrance, where guests are guided through a narrowing tunnel that evokes the dramatic walk into a world-class stadium.

Inside, the ground floor pulses with life. Nightly live music radiates from a central stage, complemented by a large 20-seat bar and intimate banquettes that encourage both social energy and comfort. A sweeping grand staircase leads to the second floor, where a semi-private dining area accommodates more than 40 guests, alongside a private dining room for up to 20.
Tables are carefully positioned to offer clear views into the open kitchen, giving diners a behind-the-scenes look at Noble 33’s culinary artistry. A discreet VIP entrance provides additional privacy, reinforcing the layered experience of the space. With 238 seats in total, the restaurant balances scale with intimacy.
Why real wood was essential
From the outset, the design team was committed to using real wood throughout the project to create an authentic, luxurious atmosphere. Flooring played a critical role in grounding the bold decorative elements while delivering warmth, texture and longevity.
Aesthetics played an important part. The range of colours and finish options allowed the design vision to be fully realised.” But the flooring was also selected for its ability to meet the practical demands of a high-traffic restaurant environment. It needed to withstand constant foot traffic, spills and operational wear while maintaining its appearance over time. Ease of installation and competitive installation pricing were also key considerations, helping ensure efficiency and cost control without compromising the design intent.

Design problems, solved
The project presented several challenges, including an irregular floor plan and multiple flooring transitions that added complexity during installation. In addition, a late-stage material change required a product with a shorter lead time.
Close collaboration proved essential. “Bjelin worked closely with the project team to resolve installation challenges and deliver a solution that met both technical and aesthetic requirements – on time and within budget.”
