The Timber Construction Forum which will be organised on December 6th, 2024, plans to dedicated this edition to exposed timber structures as part of the “Timber Constructions” thematic group. This theme is going to offer a wide range of activities for planners and executors.
More and more of these exposed timber structures are replacing steel and concrete with a renewable building material that also stores carbon and makes a positive contribution to the decarbonisation of the construction industry more than ever. However, exposed engineering structures are only truly sustainable if they are durable. Well-thought-out measures for structural wood protection continue to be the key to convincing durability.
Marcus Fischer (Property Consulting/Technical Sales/Sales Engineer, HASSLACHER Building Solutions) will give a lecture on this topic at 09:00 a.m. “Thoughtfully Covered – Wooden E-Charging Stations”.
