DARA (Argentinos Designers Associates) together with the House of Wood – CADAMDA -Presenting the first edition of “Design and Wood Festival” to be held on Saturday May 21 at the Plaza of the United Nations of the City of Buenos Aires in Av. Figueroa Alcorta.
Open to the public, the event organized by both entities, is an attractive journey in which various interdisciplinary teams (consisting of architects, interior designers and industrialists, artists, fashion designers, among others) that made equipment using only wood as material around the Floralis Generic. In addition to appreciating the work of professionals and exchange thoughts on wood, festival visitors can enjoy fashion shows, foodtrucks, DJ’S live shows, among other activities.
The event is sponsored by the Metropolitan Design Center of CABA and GBA, the Festival of Design and Wood aims to integrate various fields of design, technology and art to the use and application of wood. In the space surrounding the iconic sculpture flower, participants may show a collective approach generating projects defined by openness, experimentation, social sensitivity, innovation and development.
