WOOD TAIWAN had an amazing start on the Day 1 with successful procurement meetings which were in full swing.
A total of 18 international buyers from 14 countries—including Canada, Algeria, Egypt, Ethiopia, Croatia, Hungary, Israel, Japan, Thailand, and Uganda—gathered on-site to engage with 21 exhibiting companies. A total of 54 one-on-one meetings were conducted, with vibrant interactions and growing potential for collaboration.
Through precise matchmaking, the event continues to help Taiwan’s woodworking machinery industry expand into global markets and unlock new business opportunities.
WOOD TAIWAN, Taiwan International Woodworking Industry & Furniture Manufacturing Show, has already opened it’s gate from April 23 will be held till April 26, 2026, at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center Hall 1. The booth application has opened on August 18, 2025, welcoming companies worldwide to join this much-anticipated industry event.
With the theme “Craft Smart!”, the exhibition will highlight smart woodworking and sustainable craftsmanship, showcasing Taiwan’s advancements in technological innovation and green transformation during the show. This edition will feature themed zones including Smart Manufacturing & AI Solutions, Furniture Manufacturing & Timber Structures, Machinery & Equipment, Hardware Accessories & Panels, and Hand Tools & DIY.
Notably, two new areas among them, Smart Manufacturing & AI Solutions and Furniture Manufacturing & Timber Structures, have been introduced to reflect current industry trends. The show has expected to host 150 exhibitors across 850 booths, attracting more than 7,600 professional buyers and visitors from around the world, demonstrating the strength of Taiwan’s comprehensive woodworking machinery supply chain.
In recent years, the global woodworking machinery industry has been moving toward smart manufacturing, low-carbon production, and sustainable materials. Taiwan, as the world’s fourth-largest exporter, continues to excel with its flexible production, turnkey solutions, and customized capabilities. By leveraging cutting-edge technologies such as AI, Taiwan’s industry is advancing automation, green manufacturing, and sustainability—further strengthening its global competitiveness in response to evolving market demands.
To foster business exchange and collaboration, WOOD TAIWAN 2026 will present a variety of events, including the Woodworking Machinery Design & Innovation Awards, Buyers’ Night, and One-on-One Procurement Meetings, aimed at highlighting premium Taiwanese products and facilitating international trade partnerships. In addition, the Industry Forum and the “ManufacturersWin” Podcast will explore future industry trends, expanding the exhibition’s global influence.
