Södra‘s investment company, Södra Ädla, appointed a new investment manager, Fredrik Tärneberg, who holds the position of senior business development, on May 1. Södra Ädla invests in businesses whose business concepts, through innovations and innovative methods of operation, enhance the growth and profitability of forest farms.
“After a broad recruitment process, where we interviewed both internal and external applicants, we are pleased to welcome Fredrik to the role of Investment Manager for Södra Ädla. His experience from Södra, combined with his entrepreneurial drive, will be important in the work of investing in innovations that benefit Södra members. I am convinced that he is the right person for the assignment and that he will contribute to strengthening Södra’s position as a leading innovator in forestry,” exclaimed Andreas Hörnfeldt, Head of New Business at Södra.
Since May 1, Fredrik Tärneberg has been Södra Ädla’s new investment manager. Most recently, he was Södra’s senior business developer for innovative goods. Fredrik has worked at Södra for 15 years, during which time he has developed a thorough grasp of company development, entrepreneurship, and the forest and its prospects. He is qualified to oversee Södra Ädla’s investment operations for the future of forestry because of his background working with startups and creating new business prospects.
