Siempelkamp India Pvt. Ltd. is poised to present itself at Indiawood as a reliable partner for wood-based panel producers. The team will be in Bangalore from February 26th to March 2nd and is delighted to announce two recent milestones in customer projects with Elixrr Industries Pvt. Ltd. and M5 Green Pvt. Ltd.
Siempelkamp India is supported by a dedicated team of around 30 professionals, including five new engineers who have recently joined. Established in 2010, the team possesses comprehensive expertise across all core competencies involved in the planning and construction of wood-based panel plants, covering sales, project management, installation, programming, commissioning, and service. Siempelkamp India Ltd. now operates from two locations: its headquarters in Kolkata, West Bengal, and a software development and programming branch in Pune, Maharashtra.
Siempelkamp India is currently proud to be working on two ongoing projects with new customers, in which it is demonstrating its expertise. Both projects are either in the installation phase or about to be installed. The partnership with Elixrr Industries Pvt. Ltd. represents a significant step, founded on mutual trust and close technical collaboration between both organisations. In 2025, the Indian company headquartered in Mumbai, ordered an MDFplant, featuring an 8′ x 33.8m ContiRoll, Generation 9 along with Contitherm Neo and AI-based Prod-IQ · SmartPress technology, underscoring Elixrr’s focus on high performance and reliable production technology. This marks the company’s entry into MDF production.
“The project is powered by cuƫng-edge continuous-press technology from Siempelkamp, Germany – globally regarded as the gold standard in wood-panel manufacturing equipment”, according to Mr. Raman Poddar, President, Elixrr Industries Pvt. Ltd.
Currently under installation near Gwalior (MP), India, the project will, upon completion, deliver a production capacity of 1100 m³ per day of MDF boards.
“We are delighted to support both companies in their ambitious projects and are grateful for the trust placed in us as a partner. This trust applies both to our highly trained, strong team in India and to our company as a whole, which has been established in the wood-based panel industry for many decades”, says Samiron Mondal, CEO BU Capital, Siempelkamp GmbH & Co. KG.
Rananjoy Mitra, Director at Siempelkamp India Pvt Ltd, Siempelkamp India, adds: “We enjoy a high level of trust and an excellent reputation in our sales region for implementing projects quickly and to a high standard of quality. We also provide easy access to support and service. We are delighted to be launching Indiawood with these assets!”
This year’s Indiawood appearance will focus on Siempelkamp press concepts, service and the special topic of Contitherm Neo.
