Schattdecor organises Orientation Day

Schattdecor is always concerned about future generation. This time, they offered a platform to the young students who dream to work in woodworking field in future. Through the apprentice program students learned to explore and experience.

 

On November 8, 2019, the world’s market leader in decorative printing opened its doors to the Orientation Day for the second time. For years, the international surface specialist at the headquarter in Thansau has been training media technologists for printing, industrial clerks, office management, mechatronics and IT specialists for system integration. Since 2016, two apprenticeships have also been offered in the apprenticeship training office management at the Italian site in Rosate. In the future, the apprentice training program will be expanded to include dual training as a mechatronics technician.

 

Since 1990, 135 trainees have completed their training at Schattdecor and have enjoyed success as the next generation of apprentices and graduates once again demonstrated during the Orientation Day, giving the numerous interested parties an insight into the future gave her work.

 

Including Philipp Uschold, who was able to start in his wish department at the beginning of 2019: “I am very happy that I was allowed to do the training at Schattdecor and that I have now been taken over. I was able to gain a lot of experience – whether in training or in dealing with customers – that will support me in the long term. It was also exciting that during my training I was employed in all departments and got to know so many different activities and colleagues. In addition, I really liked the numerous excursions, training courses and courses that may not be so obvious in other companies. ”

 

After the first orientation day in 2014, the crowd was again big in 2019. Balthasar Unterseher, Personnel International / Personnel Development, underlined the importance of this special information event: “We were delighted to welcome numerous young people and their families to our stand again this year. With Orientation Day, we create a platform for direct exchange. Graduates and new entrants can get in touch with us directly and ask questions about companies and training without obligation. In doing so, a first bridge to professional life can be made and an impression of the later, possible practice can be gained. A first get-together that benefits both sides. ”

 

Guided tours of the company and information stands on the respective training occupations rounded off the extensive program. Korbinian Heiß, Head of Personal International: “We attach great importance to the quality of our training. The young people should later become good specialists and stay with Schattdecor for as long as possible. As a training company we are aware of our social responsibility and always strive for a good education. We also benefit from these young, motivated people and invest with a first-class education like in the next generation. Satisfied, well-trained employees are the key to success, cohesion and quality! ” Korbinian concluded.
