The Schattdecor Group’s preliminary total sales for the 2024 financial year stand at around €875 million, slightly below the previous year’s figures. Production volumes remain steady, with 1.4 billion square meters in printing and 770 million square meters in finished surfaces, the latter reflecting a modest increase.
“The year 2024 was once again marked by significant challenges,” said CFO and Spokesperson of the Management Board Dr. Derick Beitel. We are in a time of heightened uncertainty – economic indicators are subdued, geopolitical tensions are increasing. Despite these difficult conditions, we remain optimistic.” – Dr. Beitel added further.
“A particular challenge in 2024 was the flooding of our plant in Glucholazy, Poland. Here, we succeeded in repairing the damage in a very short time and restoring full delivery capacity.” he concluded.
The Group continues to focus on growth and investments. For the current fiscal year, more than €40 million is again earmarked for the expansion of production capacities, new technologies, and the expansion of its international infrastructure. Particular attention is being paid to IT/digitalisation, machinery, infrastructure, and its own energy generation.
“We want to grow sustainably and profitably. To achieve this, we are investing specifically in new capabilities, innovative products, and promising markets,” Beitel continued. One focus remains the further development of thermoplastic surfaces, which form an important part of the product portfolio.
