At LIGNA 2025, Salvamac officially presented their new SalvaSmart_4.0_AI software – the natural evolution of a platform already recognised in the market for its innovation. Born from previous versions that were already ahead of their time, this new step takes everything further: not only in terms of software evolution, but also with the integration of state-of-the-art, fully digital hardware components.
Two new strengths define this release.
First, a completely redesigned user interface, as easy and intuitive as a smartphone: no keyboard, no mouse – just a touchscreen with user-friendly icons, developed based on feedback from real users – from machine operators to final clients.
Second, the development process itself, which used artificial intelligence to analyse, compare and imagine new solutions. SalvaSmart was co-designed with AI – a smart use of technology that allowed Salvamac to reach even higher goals.
The study and testing of the new software were carried out entirely in-house by Salvamac, based on extensive field experience and direct contact with hundreds of clients. Salvamac is the creator of many of the control innovations now standard in cutting machines. SalvaSmart is more than software – it’s a bridge between technology, real-world experience, and the voices of those who work with wood every day.
