Ruwi

RUWI, a leading developer and manufacturer of tools, machines, and mechanical solutions for woodworking professionals, has launched its latest innovation—the XL lifting table. This new ergonomic solution is specifically designed for handling large-format workpieces with greater ease and efficiency.

Advanced Ergonomics and Versatile Features

The RUWI XL lifting table features an expansive 200 x 120 cm work surface and offers hydraulic height adjustment ranging from 53 to 113 cm, allowing users to customize the table height for optimal comfort. The table’s long sides enable vertical clamping, similar to a front clamp workbench, making it easier to secure workpieces in various positions.

Additionally, integrated support extensions on both sides enhance stability and provide extra support for large, laterally clamped workpieces. The durable multiplex board with an HPL coating ensures a robust and long-lasting surface, while the precise hole grid system—featuring 240 holes (20 mm diameter)—expands the possibilities for RUWI’s advanced clamping technology. An integrated storage area beneath the work surface further improves organization and workflow efficiency in woodworking shops.

A Legacy of Innovation in Woodworking

RUWI was founded in 2000 by master carpenter Reiner Ruggaber in Germany’s Black Forest. Originally developed to optimize workflows in his own workshop, RUWI’s first router table laid the foundation for what would become a renowned brand in the industry. Over the years, the company has steadily expanded, now offering ten product groups with more than 500 woodworking and metalworking tools.

Lifting tables have become a core product in RUWI’s lineup, with continuous improvements and innovations ensuring they meet the evolving needs of professionals. The launch of the XL lifting table reinforces RUWI’s commitment to ergonomics, efficiency, and precision in woodworking.
