In collaboration with the Supervisory Board and the Schatt family, Roland Auer has announced his resignation as CEO of Schattdecor SE. This decision, made at his own request for personal reasons, comes after more than 30 years with the surface specialist. Supported by his family and the Schattdecor Supervisory Board, Auer made this difficult choice to step down.
Over the past three decades, Roland Auer has made a significant contribution to the development and internationalization of the company. His achievements for Schattdecor Poland and his work as CEO since 2017 also deserve special mention, according to the Supervisory Board and the Schatt family, who thanked him for his tireless efforts and assured him of their full support.
“We have ensured that our existing Management Board and management structures as well as our dedicated team enable a seamless transition and that our customers, suppliers and partners can rely on continuous and reliable cooperation,” emphasise Reiner Schulz, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Schattdecor SE, and Anja Schatt-Steiner, representing the Schatt family.
Internally, the company has taken extensive measures to ensure a smooth transition and guarantee the continuity of business operations. Dr. Derick Beitel, Chief Financial Officer of the Group, will become Spokesman of the Executive Board. Claudia Küchen, Board Member for Design, Marketing, Communication and Decor Management, will assume responsibility for the Human Resources Department. The Supervisory Board has appointed Robert Vuga as the new Chief Sales Officer. Robert has been part of the Schattdecor Group for 24 years and was Managing Director in Russia and Turkey.
