Revolutionary Production Concept from Schelling at LIGNA

 Friday, May 29, 2015

SchellingSchelling presents revolutionary production concept for single-run production at Ligna.

The Schelling concept is attractive. Cutting plans featuring any number of cut levels may be split automatically. This increases utiisation of boards enormously. The finished parts are always received individually in the correct alignment featuring stickers.

Schelling_178 copy 1Cutting to size with a saw blade has proved to be more significantly more economical than other cut-to-size systems. The use of pressure beam makes the precision of the cut formats much higher than with other systems. The cut-to-size cycle with a saw also requires significantly less energy (saw motor, extraction). Cutting single boards to size is also much quieter than comparable cut-to-size solutions.

The cleanliness of the machine was an important purchase criterion, since according to experience, system with other cut-to-size technology have problems with dust development and extraction. The high performance of the compact truing wheel solution is also attractive compare with other systems.

In order to armed for the future, the Schelling system is able to be expanded with modules. Schelling analyzed the products intensively with regard to performance, space requirements, energy consumption, noise generation, cleanliness of the system and many more things.
