LEUCO showcases innovative G5-System saw blades at LIGNA

LEUCO, a global leader in advanced cutting solutions, is proudly showcasing its renowned carbide-tipped circular saw blades, the “LEUCO g5-System,” at LIGNA 2025, the world’s premier woodworking trade fair.

Celebrating roughly 15 successful years on the market, the LEUCO g5-System blades offer exceptional performance and precision. Known for delivering razor-sharp, chip-free edges across various materials, these blades feature a distinctive tooth geometry—four alternating teeth followed by one flat tooth—that guarantees consistently excellent results. This versatile geometry makes the blades ideal for panel-sizing, cross-cutting, and CNC machine grooving.

With remarkably quiet operation due to their innovative design, the g5-System blades utilize LEUCO’s advanced carbide grade, “HL Board 04 plus,” ensuring significantly longer service life compared to conventional blades. Recently, LEUCO expanded the g5-System range, introducing compatibility with additional saw machine types, particularly those in housing construction, offering professionals enhanced flexibility and efficiency.

Typical applications for the LEUCO g5-System blades include precise miter cuts on veneered or foil-wrapped door frames, sizing cuts on pre-coated particleboards, chip-free cross-cutting of solid wood, and clean cross-cuts on thin-walled plastic profiles, such as roller shutter profiles.

In addition to the g5-System, LEUCO will introduce an exciting evolution of its popular standard sizing saw blade, the “Highline,” during LIGNA. Despite the blade’s global popularity for table saws cutting standard chipboards, its fundamental design had remained unchanged for over a decade. At this year’s event, LEUCO will unveil groundbreaking enhancements aimed at improving cutting quality, efficiency, and overall application performance.

Furthermore, LEUCO will highlight the industry trend toward ultra-thin saw blades for panel-sizing machines—a demand increasingly emphasized by manufacturers to reduce energy consumption. LEUCO remains at the forefront of this innovation, providing solutions compatible with nearly all major woodworking machinery brands globally.
