Ledinek Engineering, a globally recognized manufacturer of advanced woodworking machinery and complete production lines for engineered timber products, has successfully shipped the final container of equipment for the cross-laminated timber (CLT) production line destined for Cambium Timber’s new manufacturing facility in Corrientes, Argentina.

The equipment is currently en route to the Port of Buenos Aires, from where it will continue its journey to Gobernador Virasoro, Corrientes, where installation is scheduled to begin in September.

The project marks a significant milestone for Argentina’s timber industry, as the Cambium Timber facility is expected to become the country’s first cross-laminated timber (CLT) and mass timber manufacturing plant. Once operational, the facility will produce high-quality engineered wood products that support modern, sustainable construction while creating greater value from locally sourced timber resources.

The shipment of the final equipment container represents an important phase in the delivery of the complete production line and underscores Ledinek Engineering’s role in supporting the development of next-generation timber manufacturing facilities worldwide.

“We are proud to contribute our technology and expertise to this pioneering project,” said [Name, Title], Ledinek Engineering. “The successful shipment of the final container reflects the dedication of our team and our commitment to delivering innovative production solutions that help customers advance sustainable construction and strengthen regional wood processing industries.”

Headquartered in Hoče, Slovenia, Ledinek Engineering is internationally recognized for designing and manufacturing high-performance machinery for the timber processing industry. The company specializes in complete production solutions for structural timber, glued laminated timber (glulam), cross-laminated timber (CLT), finger-jointing, planing, profiling, and industrial automation. With installations operating in more than 50 countries, Ledinek Engineering has built a strong reputation for engineering excellence, technological innovation, and reliable turnkey solutions for the global wood industry.

The Cambium Timber project represents another important step in the growing adoption of mass timber construction across South America. Cross-laminated timber has become one of the fastest-growing engineered wood products worldwide due to its structural performance, efficient construction process, and ability to support lower-carbon building practices. As governments and developers increasingly embrace sustainable construction materials, investments in advanced CLT manufacturing facilities continue to expand globally.

Located in one of Argentina’s most important forestry regions, the new plant is expected to add significant value to locally harvested timber by transforming it into high-performance engineered wood products suitable for residential, commercial, institutional, and industrial construction applications. The investment also supports the continued development of Argentina’s forest products sector while strengthening regional manufacturing capabilities.

With installation activities scheduled to commence in September, Ledinek Engineering will continue working closely with Cambium Timber and project partners throughout the commissioning process to ensure the successful implementation of the production line.

“This project demonstrates what can be achieved when advanced manufacturing technology and a shared commitment to sustainable development come together,” added. “We look forward to supporting the successful completion of the facility and seeing Argentina’s first CLT manufacturing plant begin production.”

As global demand for mass timber continues to grow, Ledinek Engineering remains committed to delivering innovative production technologies that enable customers around the world to manufacture high-quality engineered wood products efficiently, sustainably, and at scale.
