The Board of Directors of Metsä Group’s parent company Metsäliitto Cooperative has in its constituent meeting decided that Jussi Linnaranta M.Sc. (Agriculture and Forestry) continues as the Chair of the Board of Directors. Mikko Mäkimattila M.Sc. (Agriculture and Forestry) continues as the Vice Chair of the Board of Directors.
Metsä Group’s parent company Metsäliitto Cooperative is a cooperative owned by its members. After paying their members’ capital shares, members may increase their holding by investing in Metsäliitto’s additional shares. The cooperative pays interest on the shares according to the percentage decided on annually by the Representative Council.
The amount of the members’ capital share, which is a precondition for membership, is determined on the basis of the area of forest land owned and its location.
The compositions of Board of Directors’ committees are the following:
Audit Committee: Ilkka Salonen (Chair), Jussi Linnaranta, Mikko Mäkimattila, Eija Pitkänen and Jussi Vanhanen.
HR Committee: Taavi Heikkilä (Chair), Teuvo Hatva, Jussi Linnaranta and Nina Pärssine.
