The date for INTERFORST 2022 has been set. The next edition of the leading international trade fair for forestry and forestry technology will take place in Munich from July 20 to 23, 2022. The aim of the event is to bring all representatives of the international forestry industry, including representatives from science and politics, together at a performance show and thus enable visitors to exchange ideas at a high level.
Reinhard Pfeiffer, Vice Chairman of the Management of Messe München, underlines this decision: “INTERFORST is the leading platform for innovations and solutions in the field of forestry, wood and bioenergy. We owe this primarily to our loyal exhibitors and visitors. It is therefore important to us to create optimal framework conditions for everyone involved. ”
When analyzing the visitor survey, it was noticed that the average length of stay was 1.3 days. The aim is to organize a modern trade fair that offers visitors long-term solutions to various challenges and adapts to the contemporary forestry culture. Ralf Dreeke, Managing Director of Wahlers Forsttechnik says: “I am convinced that we are right in deciding to shorten the fair. Our visitors should get 100 percent INTERFORST without having to take more time. The advisory board is behind the decision. “
With four days at the fair from Wednesday to Saturday, all areas in forestry that work together nationally and globally will continue to be reached. Constructive and interactive trade fair offers from and for the areas of business, science and politics are offered. The INTERFORST project group is currently working on a diverse supporting program consisting of lectures, workshops and live demonstrations. The motto: program, every day, until the end!
