IndiaWood 2022 postponed

Organisers Nurnberg Messe postpones the most awaited event IndiaWood 2022 to June 2 -6. The organisers were forced to reschedule the event owing to the growing virus threat in the sub-continent and around. The new dates in June presents possible opportunity for business and networking, both within the Indian industry but also with overseas exhibitors and visitors.

In view of the present pandemic situation organisers decided to postpone the event to June 2022 from February. Another victim to the COVID-19 pandemic, as one of the most awaited events of the year gets postponed due to unprecedented situation. The event will now happen in June between 2 to 6 at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre.


The 12th edition of IndiaWood, the woodworking exhibition which was scheduled to take place from February 24 to February 28, 2022, at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre in Bangalore, India, will now happen between June 2 to 6, 2022. The show however is expected to boost the industry’s economic activity. Over the last few years, the exhibition trio of IndiaWood, DelhiWood, and MumbaiWood has solidified its position as India’s largest sourcing platform for furniture manufacturers, wood-based handicraft manufacturers, saw millers, carpenters, craftsmen, architects, and interior designers.


Some of the factors that have contributed to this expansion include increased local demand, opportunities for furniture makers to expand their facilities and attract new investors, and India’s current beneficial location within the global supply chain.

IndiaWood boasts the presence of woodworking machinery, woodworking equipment and tools, parts and accessories, fittings and fixtures, raw materials, and other products. It is an international trade fair that has been presenting eminent exhibitors and professionals who are excellent in their field. The event also provides benefits to both visitors and exhibitors and promises quality time and a memorable experience. The presenters are known to generate a good amount of profit and high sales volume, through this event.


IndiaWood is expected to heavily influence the woodworking and processing market in the South East Asian segment. Indian wood market however is passing through a transition period, and with the spike in the transformation in the supply chain management, focus on the latest technologies grow in line with the development of Industry 4.0 as well as the rise of new regions in respect to the growing supply and demand.
