Fantoni

Fantoni crafted the 4akustik as a sound-absorbing system that is milled to the maximum efficiency. Following the Helmholtz resonator theory and sound dissipation by porosity, the high performances of this unique design thus comes as no wonder! It is composed of MDF lamellas or tiles that have been faced, lacquered, or veneered, and is suitable for use on both walls and ceilings. The finest sound absorption performance and the highest standards of health and safety are all combined under one roof in the 4akustik. The various pitches and millings ensure various sound absorption coefficients, catering to the widest range of design requirements.

Random
A sound-absorbing system for walls or ceilings with three different types of slats whose staggered pitch gives the surfaces energy : Random clearly has a unique and alluring personality. With the addition of the new Mocha colour, the wide variety of décors and finishes that go with the staves’ outstanding acoustic performance and flawless workability have been improved.

Striped: performing aesthetics
The newest addition to the Acoustic Panelling line is Millerighe, a sound-absorbing material with a striking visual impact that can be used to clad interior volumes vertically and has strong noise-reduction capabilities. With the milling gone, the material aspect takes precedence as Millerighe produces an uniform environment.

Dry installation
Due to the absence of joints, slats and tiles offer a high degree of installation versatility and guarantee surface uniformity. The slats can be dry-assembled using a series of easy steps. Slide clips and screws are used to ensure a basic removal. A system of hooks and profiles that is very similar to that of the slats can also be used to install the modular systems on the wall.

Health and safety
The panel conforms with the extremely severe requirements of the Japanese “F4 stelle” certification, which refers to the extremely low formaldehyde level in accordance with the JIS standard, in the CE certified version in class “B-s1,d0” for reaction to fire. Fourakustik has a LEED map. Additionally, 4akustik is offered in a variant with Class E1 formaldehyde emissions and no fire reaction certificate.
