HOMAG and WEINMANN premieres interesting innovations between October 25 to November 19 in machines, cell solutions, production methods and digital products. At their locations in Holzbronn, Herzebrock and St. Johann, topics such as performance improvement through intelligent automation, process optimisation and the further development of mobile operation will all be explored, has been officially disclosed at a press conference in the august presence of Dr. Daniel Schmill, Member of the Board and Achim Homeier Senior Director Global Marketing & Product Management. Interested participants will participate and learn to enhance working efficiency with available resources.

Panel cutting from woodworking shops to industrial applications:
The event will bring to light several woodworking issues such as, saws that perfectly suits the production need, HOMAG saws and its role in offering support to the skilled workers, simple machine operations and strengths of HOMAG panel cutting saws, such as SAWTEQ B-130 and SAWTEQ B-200 commonly used by the woodworkers. The panel will also introduce materialManager Advanced feature that ensures optimal machine parameters are automatically set depending on the selected material, the saw blade used and the required cutting quality. Also Measuring System Cutting Quality (MSQ) makes its debut on the SAWTEQ B-300 flexTec at HOMAG Treff. WoodStore 8 —intelligent storage system management software for transparent flow of information and material. woodStore can be described as the “brain” of the storage system.
HOMAG edge banding machines:
New equipment variants ensure even greater flexibility and efficiency. Fast, clean change between EVA and PUR hot-melt glues on HOMAG edge banding machines. At HOMAG, EVA and PUR hot-melt glues are processed on the same machines and with the same application unit. A new feature is that the glue can be changed via the melting unit without mixing, i.e. with no cross-contamination and no cleaning.
Due to its resistance to humidity and heat, PUR is ideal for use withedge banding for furniture in humid rooms such as bathrooms, kitchens and laboratories. If these properties are not necessary to achieve perfect edges, the carpenter will prefer EVA for reasons of cost.
