Häfele to preview Micro-Living-Apartment at BAU 2017

hafele BAU 1The modular space model “Micro-Living Apartment” by Häfele is going to be the center of its presentation at BAU 2017 in Munich from January 16 to 21, 2017.

 
All over the world, more and more people are moving into the cities to live alone where they find jobs and educational opportunities. However, living space is scarce in a narrow urban area: the construction industry must provide fast, cost-effective, attractive, residential solutions. The modular “Micro-Living-Apartment” by Häfele offers a wide range of solutions for every budget. Based on a grid-zone system can be scaled individually depending on apartment size, equipment level and duration of stay.

Häfele once again thinks about a brand-new topic conceptually and provides functional solutions for the planning of successful small-scale living. The “Micro-Living-Apartment” by Häfele was developed in collaboration with the architect Dr. Krista Blassy, PAB Achitekten, Erfurt / Munich and the investor and operator Carsten Fischer, Sonntag KG, Münster. Starting with a minimum apartment size of just under 20 square meters, the modular concept not only meets the needs and wishes of the future residents, it also convinces with its harmonious design, functional content and reasonable costs, including planners, investors and operators. Numerous innovative products – heated and illuminated bathroom mirrors with sound, flexible storage space, digital interfaces to building control and SmartHome – ensure comfort and future viability and are part of Häfele’s comprehensive planning and consulting expertise.

 
hafele BAU 2Häfele will continue to address many other topics at the BAU 2017 in the thematic as well as spatial areas of the micro-apartment, thus giving the interested specialist audience the opportunity to talk about concrete projects and to find innovative, individual solutions.

 
The company states: “For the first time, a selection of around 300 products that can be combined with one another from the fitting and accessory range for the international hotel industry will be presented. In the design of guest rooms and bathrooms, planners and operators can quickly and purposefully select the products and systems that match each other. They benefit from worldwide availability, uniform quality and consistent design.”

 
At the fair, Häfele will present sophisticated storage solutions, multifunctional wall panels and walk-in wardrobes and wardrobes. What is also often underestimated in its complexity are intelligent door solutions – one of the core competences of the company and its partners. That is why Häfele at the BAU shows all important aspects of a comprehensive door planning and introduces adjacent systems such as the innovative, networkable identification and locking system Dialock with smartphone key and room control.
