FIMMA

FIMMA Maderalia 2022 awakens interest of international markets. The fair has just confirmed that 100 leading Portuguese manufacturers will be attending and that buyers will also be visiting from France, Germany, Morocco, Argentina, Brazil, Ecuador, Colombia, Italy and Balkan states.

FIMMA Maderalia will also be hosting a fresh round of B2B Meetings between exhibitors and foreign. Further, 31% of the exhibitors at FIMMA + Maderalia will be from a total of 18 different countries.

FIMMA + Maderalia 2022 is putting the finishing touches to preparations for the upcoming edition of the fair, which takes places in barely two weeks’ time, from March 29 to April 1 at Feria Valencia. The event will be the first of the industry’s major trade fairs to take place in Europe this year, and has as a result prompted enormous interest in the international markets where, in spite of current circumstances, there seems to be a demand for a trade showcase such as FIMMA Maderalia.

International trade missions a success

The international element of the demand side of the industry is also set to be outstanding at FIMMA + Maderalia 2022, thanks to the various international trade missions being organised by the fair, in conjunction with exhibitors. Most notable of all is that almost a hundred Portuguese buyers from the timber and furniture sector have confirmed that they will be attending – a direct result of the invitation issued by FIMMA + Maderalia in collaboration with Portuguese trade association APIMA.

Along with the substantial presence of Portuguese buyers, a significant number of buyers is expected to attend from the rest of the European Union. The fair is, in this regard, receiving confirmations from professionals in markets including France, Germany and Italy, in addition to confirmations of attendance from buyers in the Balkans (Serbia and Croatia) and a significant delegation expected from Morocco – following improvements in obtaining visas – and Latin American countries such as Argentina, Brazil, Ecuador and Colombia.
