Interzum Guangzhou gears up 2026 edition

CIFM / interzum Guangzhou 2026, Asia’s premier woodworking machinery and furniture production expo, returns to the Canton Fair Complex in Guangzhou from 28 to 31 March. Spanning nearly 180,000 m², the event brings together over 1,600 exhibitors, including 243 international brands, and draws more than 220,900 trade visitors, according to the official show figures.

Smart Revolution: Shaping Next-Gen Furniture Manufacturing

This year’s guiding theme, “Smart Revolution,” signals a clear shift in the furniture industry’s focus. AI‑driven systems are transforming design, R&D, production, and customer service—boosting productivity while enriching consumer experience. Data from iiMedia Research’s 2025 survey shows 29.09 % of consumers prioritize smart home tech, with 25.35 % placing importance on eco‑friendly solutions.

Materials at the Forefront

Materials are also driving innovation in product sustainability and performance. The show highlights emerging eco‑materials—composite panels, recycled textiles, low‑VOC adhesives and coatings—positioned to redefine the value proposition in furniture and décor.

Exhibition Zones: A Complete Industry Showcase

The show’s hall layout caters to every stage of furniture manufacturing:

This integrated approach makes it a one‑stop hub for manufacturers, designers, suppliers, and decision‑makers.

Global Players and Strategic Layout

The show features leading enterprises across the supply chain: Arpico, DewertOkin, Henkel, Interprint, Jowat, LINAK, REHAU, Swiss Krono, and others. Each exhibitor aligns with the layout to address specific production demands—from hardware to smart automation.

Powering Asia’s Furniture Hub

Guangdong province offers the ideal backdrop for the show. As a global manufacturing powerhouse, the region is central to Asia’s furniture industry network. Hosting the event here reinforces its role as a sourcing and innovation hub for global stakeholders.

CIFM / interzum Guangzhou operates alongside Asia’s largest furniture fair—CIFF (China International Furniture Fair)—further enhancing its commercial reach and value to attendees.

Koelnmesse’s Global Expansion

Koelnmesse—the German fair giant behind interzum and imm cologne—is broadening its reach. In 2026, it launches imm India, expands ORGATEC exhibitions in Japan, India, and Saudi Arabia, and powers interzum fairs in China, Colombia, Indonesia, and Italy. These global ventures boost interzum Guangzhou’s platform for sharing ideas and fostering international partnerships.
