Timber market leaders HOMAG and HANS HUNDEGGER agreed on a strategic partnership to ensure hassle free worldwide marketing of integrated total solutions for the timber building production. The decision is aimed at mapping the entire process chain timber as well as prefabrication house construction and to expand the solution competence of both corporate houses.

The partnership focus is strictly on consumers and how they will benefit from the cooperation between timber giants. WEINMANN, in the HOMAG group, is the market leading specialist for machines as well as systems for timber frame production. HUNDEGGER, on the other hand, is the leading supplier of machines as well as systems for timber log (beam) processing as well as portals for the solid wood processing.

Dr. Markus Vöge, Executive Vice President Global Sales and Marketing at HOMAG stated that “this partnership along the entire production process chain is unique. In future, we will offer our customers end-to-end solutions with integrated software from a single source,”, he concluded, “intensive collaboration for development projects has also been agreed on.” On the other hand Walter Fahrenschon, HANS HUNDEGGER AG’s Management Board member for Sales, Marketing and Service opined, “The cooperation gives us the opportunity to open up new markets and make use of HOMAG’s project expertise”. “Carpenters and woodworkers have been looking forward to this cooperation for many years,” concluded the Managing Director Sales and Marketing at WEINMANN.
