The community of the wood and furniture industry is preparing for an intensive June. The new dates of Xylexpo, the biennial international technology exhibition to be held next June 9-12, 2026, have created the best conditions for strategic synergy with interzum forum Italy, planned few days before – June 4-5 at the Bergamo fairgrounds.
Close dates, exhibition centers just a few dozens of kilometers apart, similar categories: these are the trumps played by both events to win the challenge of an industry looking for recipes to revive the exhibition movement, combining advanced technologies, materials, ideas, projects, tools, trends and design.

Over the next few months, the two events will offer a range of joint events to promote an alliance that will allow visitors and exhibitors to experience the evolution of the entire value chain: technical, design and business developments concentrated in few days, from materials to products, from technology to services, without forgetting the big topics of sustainability, digital transformation and “Innovation 5.0”.
Xylexpo 2026
Many Italian and international companies have already submitted their registration to the next edition of Xylexpo 2026, the biennial international exhibition for the wood and furniture industries scheduled at FieraMilano-Rho next June 9 to 12.
The early-bird benefits offered to companies registering within November 30 have worked also this year, driving many companies to speed up their registration despite the “wait-and-see” mood that is affecting also the global industry of technology for wood and furniture.
The focus topics for the events scheduled during the four-day exhibition are set. The first day will be dedicated to wood construction; the highlight will be the first edition of Holzbau Forum Italia at Xylexpo, presenting an agenda focused on the closer and closer integration of technology, design and construction. The topic of the second day will be drying, featuring the presentation of the new “Drying handbook” by Conlegno and the University of Florence. On day three, the spotlights will be cast onto finishing technology and products, while the last day will be dedicated to tools. The agenda will include more events, presentations, interviews, testimonials and insights in collaboration with institutes, universities and experts.
At Xylexpo 2026, FORUM HOLZBAU is organising an international conference to offer industry professional, timber house manufacturers, production managers, builders, designers and engineers the opportunity to share their experience with international experts.
interzum forum Italy
The numbers of the first edition of interzum forum italy – the biennial event dedicated to the supply sector for the furniture and interior design industry – confirmed the interest of design and furnishing companies and professionals in a slim and effective trade fair format: 4,820 visitors from 52 countries (20% of attendance from abroad) and 216 exhibitors from 24 countries (with an internationality rate of 36%) animated the two halls of the Bergamo exhibition centre.

Starting in 2026, interzum forum Italy will expand its scope by integrating Surface in Motion Italia, the event organized by möbelfertigung dedicated to decorative surfaces and wood-based materials.
