Xylexpo 2024: All set to embrace Industry 5.0

With just over a month until its commencement, Xylexpo is gearing up to reaffirm its status as a pivotal event in the global trade fair arena. Scheduled from May 21 to May 24 at FieraMilano Rho, this prestigious expo will host over 260 exhibitors, 33 percent of whom are international, spread across 25,000 square meters in Halls 1 and 3. As the leading showcase for wood and furniture technology innovations, Xylexpo 2024 promises to highlight cutting-edge advancements in the industry.

The event will present the state-of-the-art of the international offer of wood and furniture technology. “It will be a valuable opportunity – said Dario Corbetta, exhibition director ­– in view of the recent measures for “Industry 5.0”. Italian companies will benefit from fiscal incentives up to 45 percent of their investments, provided they comply with specific features in terms of digital transformation, but most of all – that’s the news – sustainability”. An attracting opportunity for all Italian exhibitors and visitors in an Italian market that is worth more than one billion euro.

The event will serve as a crucial platform for exhibitors to demonstrate how their technologies align with contemporary sustainability demands. It will also provide visitors with a unique opportunity to explore the latest technological advancements required in woodworking machinery, setting a new standard for the industry.

In an earlier conversation, Luigi De Vito, President of EUMABOIS, European Federation of Woodworking Machinery Manufacturers, confirmed total support to Xylexpo 2024.

“As the President of European Federation of Woodworking Machinery Manufacturers, I can openly say that we are looking forward to the 28th edition of Xylexpo, scheduled from 21st to 24th of May next year”, explained Luigi De Vito.

“We are glad to see that Xylexpo remained on its mission to be a woodworking unmissable event where people from all corners of the globe can capture technological solutions in real time and meet own needs. It will be great opportunity to accelerate business dynamics within Italian woodworking machinery market, being one of the biggest in the world, whose apparent consumption in 2022 recorded the growth of +7.8% compared to the previous year, that equals to the amount of 1.124 million euros.

Xylexpo 2024, built up on its international integrity with positive benchmark scenario deriving from its last edition – 275 exhibitors within 18.500 sqm net area to 16.500 unique visitors – will be fully committed to light again the stage where innovative ideas can turn into a competitive edge.
