
WoodTech, the largest event for the woodworking machinery industry in Eurasia, is set to return for its 37th edition. Scheduled to take place from October 12-16 2024 at the Tüyap Fair and Congress Centre in Istanbul, the fair will once again bring together industry professionals and showcase the latest innovations in the sector.
Organised by RX Tüyap in partnership with the Woodworking Machinery Industrialists Association (AIMSAD) and the European Federation of Woodworking Machinery Manufacturers (EUMABOIS), WoodTech will welcome over 300 companies and more than 27,000 visitors, including approximately 5,000 international attendees. Leading companies specialising in wood cutting, processing, CNC machines, electrical and mechanical hand tools, and wood technologies will exhibit their latest products and services.
WoodTech: A Business Platform Shaping the Industry’s Future
As in previous years, this edition will attract online visitors from over 70 countries, including those from the Middle East, the Balkans, North Africa, and Eurasia, as well as the UAE, USA, UK, Poland, Italy, France, Spain, Israel, and many others. The fair will offer a prime opportunity for participants to showcase their latest technologies and innovative solutions. Attendees will have the chance to establish business connections with leading industry players and stay informed about the latest developments.
RX Tüyap General Manager Berkan Öner emphasised the fair’s importance, stating: “For 37 years, the WoodTech Fair has significantly contributed to the Turkish woodworking machinery industry. It has become one of the sector’s most crucial meeting points, providing a platform for showcasing innovations, sharing technological advancements, and fostering business relationships. Participants can grow their businesses through new connections, while visitors can access the latest technologies and trends.”
This year, RX Tüyap aims to improve satisfaction rates by increasing participation and attracting a wider audience, particularly from Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, and Central Asia. “We believe companies from these regions will want to explore new business opportunities, leveraging Turkey’s strategic location. Visitors from countries such as Germany, Italy, Poland, Romania, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Turkmenistan will have the chance to see cutting-edge technologies, form business connections, and engage in commercial collaborations,” added Öner.

He added that the fair, with its 37-year history, continues to be a vital platform for industry stakeholders to network, share ideas, and explore global market opportunities. This year, the fair will span 120,000 square metres, allowing participants to showcase advanced technologies, including automation systems, eco-friendly materials, and high-efficiency production lines. AİMSAD’s member companies, known for their cutting-edge products, are expected to have some of the most popular stands.
