Whether craft or industry, furniture production, packers or window construction – the Solid Wood Summit offers from November 9-11.  Expert knowledge for all areas of the wood processing industry!  Experts from the WEINIG Group and external institutions displays how to use digital strategies to position oneself competitively for the future, what individual solutions for automation in production can look like, or how economical production in any quantity is possible.

The opening day explored various topics on solid wood machining and several areas such as;

Diversity of application of modern CNC- processing centers-

Modern CNC-processing centers hold great potential in the processing of workpieces. They enable a wide range of products from window scantlings and stair treads to furniture parts and even toys. The WEINIG Conturex is convincing in both bar and surface processing. They displayed how it brings special added value in terms of application diversity, sustainability and quality.

The process chain of CLT production- The modern building material and its market potential

This session explained cross-laminated timber. No matter how high your throughput is, WEINIG has got the perfect solutions for all performance classes. They explain how these look like in detail and how they work.


The path to a climate-neutral company

Stefan Büttner from the Institute for Energy Efficiency in Production at the University of Stuttgart, as well as from Fraunhofer IPA, provides interesting insights into the path to climate neutrality.
