Raute conducted a successful virtual FAT for a customer. COVID-19 has changed the entire world, and that includes the business environment. That’s why the pandemic has demanded the development of new creative approaches, which enables both us and our customers to work together despite all the restrictions.
“In September, we conducted a virtual FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) where we provided our customer with nearly 7 hours of live streaming of the line operation and quality checks. In the end, the customer accepted the results. This was a joint effort by our Technology, Project and Marketing departments, and a success story of our multi-departmental cooperation.”
In the days to come, these factory acceptance tests can be performed digitally or live – whichever is a perfect fit for the project!
