VietnamWood 2025: Driving Vietnam’s woodworking innovation to the global forefront

The 16th Vietnam International Woodworking Industry Fair (VietnamWood 2025) and its concurrent event, the Vietnam International Furniture Accessories, Hardware & Tool Exhibition (FURNITEC), will take place from November 19–22 2025 at the Saigon Exhibition & Convention Center (SECC) in Ho Chi Minh City.

Organised by Vinexad National Trade Fair & Advertising J.S.C (VINEXAD) and Yorkers Trade & Marketing Service Co., Ltd., and co-organised by the Handicraft and Wood Industry Association of Ho Chi Minh City (HAWA), the event enjoys strong international and local support. NürnbergMesse Group joins as a strategic partner, alongside endorsement from the European Federation of Woodworking Machinery Manufacturers (EUMABOIS).

The exhibition will feature over 320 exhibitors from 28 countries, including Australia, Germany, Italy, Singapore, the USA, and Vietnam. Spanning 13,500 square metres across eight international pavilions, VietnamWood 2025 reaffirms its position as Vietnam’s flagship woodworking trade platform.

Across the States, Connect with the World

“VietnamWood 2025 unites the global woodworking and furniture manufacturing community, bringing together industry leaders and innovators from Asia, Europe, and the Americas. With Vietnam’s strategic access to major markets under CPTPP, RCEP, and other FTAs, the show enables businesses to expand worldwide with greater opportunities and stronger competitiveness.”

Vietnam’s participation in key trade agreements provides exhibitors with a gateway to global markets. The event promotes the exchange of ideas and technology that empower manufacturers to compete internationally.

Innovation for a Smarter, Cleaner Future

This year’s exhibition theme highlights smart, clean, and circular production. Exhibitors will present innovations in digital manufacturing, energy-efficient automation, and sustainable materials, reflecting the sector’s shift towards eco-conscious practices.

In the cutting and shaping technology segment, leading brands such as Kuang Yung Machinery Co., Ltd., Leadermac, Vetta, and Nanxing will display advanced solutions, including high-speed rip saws and intelligent cutting systems. These technologies enhance factory efficiency and accuracy.

The CNC and automation zone will feature smart production lines from Dai Phuc Vinh, Anderson, and HOMAG, demonstrating customisable CNC-based manufacturing systems for every stage of production.

Meanwhile, Innovator Machinery Co., Ltd., Barberán, and Jun Shiau will showcase next-generation surfacing technology designed to reduce waste and improve finishing quality.

Complementing these innovations, exhibitors such as An Binh, Nhat Dong A, Egger, Blum, American Hardwood, and Grass will introduce eco-certified materials — from MDF and plywood to adhesives and fittings — all supporting green design and sustainability.

Knowledge Sharing and Global Networking

Beyond the exhibition halls, VietnamWood 2025 will feature live machinery demonstrations, technical seminars, and international networking sessions. These activities are designed to help professionals stay informed about regulatory updates, sustainability standards, and market trends shaping the woodworking landscape.

“Vietnam’s Wood Industry Repositions: A Strategic Shift from Processing to Creative ODM to Navigate Trade Hurdles and Elevate its Global Position” is among the key sessions. It will explore how R&D and product innovation can enhance Vietnam’s global competitiveness.

Another crucial topic, “Anti-dumping, EUDR, CE – EU Compliance Checkpoints That Could Cost Producers Millions of Euros”, will provide practical compliance insights for exporters aiming to sustain access to the European market.

Seminars on circular materials and carbon-reduction solutions will reinforce the importance of sustainability in maintaining export growth and market trust.

NEXTGEN: Inspiring Vietnam’s Future Woodworking Leaders

VietnamWood 2025 also introduces NEXTGEN, a special zone dedicated to nurturing the next generation of talent in the woodworking sector. It will connect students, startups, and young entrepreneurs with industry professionals through hands-on activities and mentorship sessions.

The zone will feature award-winning works by graduates from leading universities and offer networking opportunities with woodworking KOLs. By promoting creativity, education, and practical experience, NEXTGEN aims to strengthen Vietnam’s talent pipeline and preserve the nation’s craftsmanship heritage.

A United Effort to Advance Vietnam’s Woodworking Future

“VietnamWood 2025 – Vietnam’s Flagship Woodworking Fair Awaits You”

The fair enjoys strong support from the Ministry of Industry & Trade, Vietnam Timber & Forest Products Association (VIFOREST), Structure Architecture Wood Association Vietnam (SAWA), Vietnam Association of Mechanical Industry (VAMI), and Ho Chi Minh City Automation Association (HauA).

With its focus on innovation, sustainability, and knowledge exchange, VietnamWood 2025 is set to strengthen Vietnam’s role in the global woodworking supply chain and drive sustainable industrial growth across Asia and beyond.
