Vida-Appointment

Vida welcomed Måns Johansson, who will be joining the company in a new capacity as Vice Chair of the Board of Directors of Vida AB after six years as CEO. He will also continue to serve as President for Canfor Europe, Vida stated.

”It has been a privilege to be CEO of Vida”, shared Måns Johansson. He continued, ”Vida is a company where I have not only dedicated my entire professional life, but with my grandfather as the founder of Vida, I also grew up with this company. I am incredibly proud of our culture, our employees, and the results we have managed to create together.” “I am excited about the future of Vida and, in my new role, I look forward to continuing to have a role with Vida and the forestry industry,” Måns Johansson further stated.

On October 1st, Karl-Johan Löwenadler will take over as CEO of Vida AB. Karl-Johan has worked in the sawmill sector his whole career. In 1998, he began working for Vida, first as a planner in the Bellö sawmill. At the then-newly founded Vida Wood, where he was appointed CEO in 2019, Karl-Johan placed an increased emphasis on sales.

“It is an honor to take on the role of CEO,” expressed Karl-Johan Löwenadler. “Måns and Santhe Dahl have built a strong foundation for the Vida group of companies, and I am committed to carrying their legacy forward. With the dedication of our exceptional employees, the strength of our culture, and the continued involvement of Måns and Santhe, I feel confident – and above all proud – to lead VIDA into the future.”
