Valmet has secured an order from ITC Limited to deliver a new wood chipping line for its pulp mill in Bhadrachalam, India. This project supports ITC’s ongoing efforts to enhance chipping capacity while ensuring high-quality output. The new system is engineered to minimise wood losses, deliver consistent and superior chip quality, and offer high availability with simplified maintenance.

The order is included in Valmet’s orders received of the third quarter 2025. Start-up of the new wood chipping line is scheduled for the end of 2026.

With more than 500 chip screening systems delivered worldwide there is a screening system for any application. Valmet chip screens are available in several sizes; from a capacity of 250 to 1200 loose m3 per hour. Valmet offers several types of screening equipment and several systems for processing overthick and oversize fractions.
