Unilin Technologies

Unilin returns to the Global DIY Summit for the second consecutive year, reinforcing its commitment to innovation and collaboration with a unified presence that brings together its Flooring and Technologies divisions under one roof. Visitors can explore the company’s latest advancements at Booth A14 from June 16–18.

At this year’s summit, Unilin Flooring is highlighting its globally recognised portfolio of brands, including Quick-Step, Moduleo, and Pergo, which have earned a reputation for combining design excellence, durability, and ease of installation. With expertise spanning parquet, laminate, and resilient flooring, the division continues to strengthen its position as a leading force in the global flooring market.

Alongside it, Unilin Technologies is showcasing its pioneering licensing model and industry-leading click technologies. The company’s renowned Uniclic, Unidrop, and Unipush systems have transformed flooring installation worldwide, establishing Unilin as a benchmark in laminate and resilient click solutions. Designed with precision engineering and built for reliability, these innovations continue to set standards for performance and user convenience.

At the heart of the exhibition is the company’s iconic click technology—originally introduced under the Quick-Step brand as the world’s first one-piece click system. This breakthrough revolutionised modern flooring installation and remains a cornerstone of product development across the industry.

Expanding beyond installation systems, Unilin is also presenting advanced technologies such as Unicoat, which provides water-repellent protection to flooring. By creating a sealed barrier between floorboards, the edge-coating technology helps prevent water penetration, reducing the risk of swelling and mould while addressing the growing demand for moisture-resistant DIY solutions.

The company is also emphasising the importance of finishing details through its comprehensive range of matching accessories, including stair nosing profiles, clickable baseboards, and profiles. Manufactured directly from the original floor plank, these accessories ensure seamless integration with identical textures, colours, patterns, and scratch-resistant properties, delivering a cohesive and premium aesthetic.

With a unified brand identity and a portfolio that spans innovative installation systems, protective technologies, and perfectly coordinated accessories, Unilin is demonstrating its vision for the future of flooring at the Global DIY Summit 2026.

Industry professionals and visitors are invited to experience these innovations firsthand at Booth A14, RAI Amsterdam, from June 16 to 18.

At Unilin Technologies, they develop and license groundbreaking technologies that push boundaries and shape the future of the home improvement industry, including advancements in flooring, panels, ceramics and furniture. From pioneering click systems to sustainable solutions, their innovations empower manufacturers worldwide to deliver smarter, stronger, and more beautiful products. With close to 4500 patents spanning over 550 patent families and a global network of partners, they provide more than access to the newest technologies. Unilin delivers expertise, support throughout the supply chain, and commit to continuous innovation. Whether it’s easier installation, enhanced durability, or eco-friendly solutions, their technologies make better spaces, one product at a time.

Matching stair covers, baseboards, and profiles to a floor is often complex, time-consuming and expensive. When a new flooring design or color is introduced, traditional accessory production typically relies on a costly and extensive color-matching process – which still doesn’t fully match the original floor.

With these patented, and market-proven technologies, accessories can be produced directly from the original flooring plank. As a result, all accessories share the exact design, texture and wear layer of the floor, creating a perfectly coordinated look across every element of the installation.

This technology is the first to offer stairnoses for all types of flooring – including laminate – in both a modern square-edge and more traditional roundnose, along with clickable baseboards, and 4-in-1 profiles.
