A major investment is being made by Sonae Arauco in its Beeskow site. The company is installing a new MDF sanding line. This move aims to improve product quality and increase production capacity. A budget of around €6 million has been allocated to this upgrade.

In 2020, the site saw the opening of a new chipboard production line. That project received an investment of more than €50 million. It was a leap forward in production efficiency and product quality.
Timeline and Technical Upgrades
Assembly of the MDF sanding line is set to start in mid-July 2025. Production support from the new line will begin shortly after. Once in operation, the new line will allow for high-precision sanding and faster throughput. Equipment was chosen to ensure long-term performance and environmental efficiency.
By August 2025, the facility will offer even higher quality MDF panels. The changes align with increasing customer expectations in both furniture and construction markets. Wood-based products must now meet strict technical and design standards. This investment helps meet those challenges.
