Jörgen LindqvistJörgen Lindquist has now been appointed President of Södra Wood, following his position as Interim President of the business area since March 14.

“Jörgen Lindquist has an extensive background with international experience, and will be an asset in our continued efforts to improve the long-term profitability of Södra Wood,” says Lars Idermark, President and CEO.
“I have full respect for the mission of turning a negative result into long-term, sustained profitability. At the same time, I see many opportunities and a very exciting journey ahead,” comments Jörgen Lindquist.

Prior to joining Södra, he was employed at IKEA where he has spent the past five years as CFO and Interim President of the Group’s industrial division, Swedspan International. Before that, Jörgen was responsible for IKEA’s establishment of a new furniture industry in the US. He has also served as CFO and Vice President of the Axis Group and held various senior financial positions in the chemical and packaging industries.
