Siempelkamp expands its South America team

 Friday, April 16, 2021

South American wood-based material producers are among the longest-standing and most active Siempelkamp customers. Siempelkamp has recently set up or expanded its South America team. This includes handing over the “baton” from Werner Masnitza – still active as a senior consultant – to the sales team for South America.

Werner Masnitza will contribute his immense experience in the South American wood-based materials industry as a senior consultant. The qualified engineer has been working for Siempelkamp since 1987 and shaped the company’s success in South America in particular – initially as a senior project manager and since 2002 as Sales Director Wood Division for the South American market, Spain, Portugal and Italy. His expertise led to initial sales successes in Chile and Colombia, among others, and he also accompanied numerous projects throughout the South American market.

Two other employees are dedicated to providing customers in South America with the best possible support when it comes to investing in a new system. Jonathan Parisotto, who has been with Siempelkamp for four years, takes over the position of Sales Director Siempelkamp do Brasil Wood Division South America as the local contact. His experience is based on 14 years as a sales engineer or project manager for various industries. He is already familiar to Siempelkamp customers in South America as a contact person during their cooperation in numerous projects.

Daniel Hasemann has also been working for Siempelkamp for four years – he strengthens the team as Sales Director for Siempelkamp Maschinen- und Anlagenbau GmbH, Wood Division South America. As head of technical customer service and in sales for a mechanical engineering company, he gained experience in a global company, which he expanded further at Siempelkamp and now brings to support for South American customers. Daniel Hasemann was responsible for technical sales in a number of projects in other European countries and in North America and now brings this to the support of South American customers.

“With this setup, we are ready to provide the best possible support for wood-based material producers in South America with a team that is precisely tailored to the needs and to meet the growing demand,” emphasizes Ulrich Kaiser, Head of Sales at Siempelkamp.
