Siempelkamp appointed Martin Scherrer as CEO and Martin Sieringhaus as CFO and from January 2023 they will become member of the management board of the Siempelkamp Group by succeeding Dr. Martin Stark as CEO of the management board from July 2023, who last, led the group successfully. In October 2022, Martin Sieringhaus will become the new CFO of the Siempelkamp Group and will succeed the long-standing commercial managing director Elisabeth Bienbeck-Ketelhohn. Martin Scherrer joins Siempelkamp from AstenJohnson, a supplier to the paper industry, where he most recently headed the business as President Eurasia.

“We are pleased that we were able to win Martin Scherrer and Martin Sieringhaus, two internationally very experienced and successful managers in plant engineering and service, for the Siempelkamp Group. Mr Scherrer provides extensive experience in strategic development and the implementation of change processes. Mr Sieringhaus also managed the commercial aspects of extensive change initiatives,” says Bertram Staudenmaier, Chairman of the Siempelkamp Advisory Board.

“For her many years of dedication and commitment, the Advisory Board of Siempelkamp GmbH & Co. KG extends their thanks to Elisabeth Bienbeck-Ketelhohn. Likewise, a big thank you goes to Dr. Martin Stark for the successful management of the Group over the past three years and for the many optimization measures and priorities set in the area of business processes and digitalization. The Advisory Board wishes them both all the best for the future. With the strong dual leadership we can successfully continue the new transformation path and lead the Siempelkamp Group into the future,” explains Dr. Dieter Siempelkamp, Honorary Chairman of the Advisory Board.

Siempelkamp group is a system supplier of press lines and complete plants for the wood-based panel industry, metal forming, and the composites and rubber industries.
