
In collaboration with its partner SMARTECH, Siempelkamp introduced the cutting-edge Prod-IQ · SmartPress solution for autonomous production lines at the European Wood-Based Panel Symposium (EPF) in Hamburg and the China International Furniture Machinery & Woodworking Machinery Fair (WMF) in Shanghai. This groundbreaking innovation is designed to revolutionise wood-based panel production by enabling the plant to make autonomous decisions, enhancing efficiency, and continuously optimising the manufacturing process.
The joint presentation illustrated how Prod-IQ · SmartPress integrates cutting-edge AI/ML technology and cutting-edge analytics to optimise press lines in real time and contribute to future fully autonomous production environments.
