Leading press technology system suppliers Siempelkamp bags a new order from Chinese client, wood-based materials producer Jiangsu Hui Dian New Materials Co. Ltd. Hui Dian has commissioned Siempelkamp for the supply of production plant for OSB. The location for this new plant is Shuyang in Chinese province at Jiangsu.
Christoph Michel, spokesperson of the management of the Siempelkamp holding company, mentioned, “For me, orders such as this one are an important confirmation of our strategy to increase our presence in China. One main area for global demand can be found here. We meet this demand with suitable offers and local resources. It is particularly pleasing that we were once again able to convince a new customer of our services”.
The new product line will have a fine particleboard surface layer. It will also supply other machinery products like screening system and the EcoPulser, resin dosing as well as blending system, double diagonal saw etc. The installation of the plant will take place in 2020 and after becoming operational will produce about 300,000m3 of OSB yearly.
