SCM’s “Smart&Human Factory” take the centre stage at interzum Guangzhou, one of the main trade fair events in China for woodworking machinery, and proves to be a solid, reliable partner for businesses on the market that are paying increasing attention to technological evolution of production processes and a top quality design product.
The Group was one of the first Italian companies dedicated to invest in China almost twenty years ago and has continued to record a growing trend in terms of turnover on this market, even in 2020. This is thanks to a vast range of unique products and services at international level that meet the various demands for wood-working, as well as a know-how of seventy years of experience in the industry and a specific engineering team, capable of accompanying market businesses in “turnkey” factory projects with tailor-designed, high-tech solutions.

Thanks to the experience of our technical and sales team, we have produced complete system projects in close collaboration with leading industry customers, by handling every aspect of the product manufacturing. In 2021, we predict a growth in orders led by the hi-tech solutions that we will take to the trade fair and the conclusion of a series of important ‘turnkey’ projects on which we have been working since the end of 2020”.

At the event in Guangzhou, SCM will present a new design and new concept for the first time. The exhibiting area in Hall 11.1, stand A01 will have a completely new look&feel; sturdy, solid, industrial and more in line with the Group’s solidity and closer to the production framework of its partner companies.
The Smart&Human Factory will take centre stage: the new digital factory model that has been automated and custom designed according to the actual production needs of customers’ businesses, with two main aims: optimise and simplify the production processes, even in the most flexible machinings, and achieve a top quality product.
Visitors to Interzum will receive a clear demonstration of SCM automate and custom designed solutions exclusively for the Chinese furnishing and design market. The flexible cell designed and developed for “batch 1” production of furniture components, with an average output of 800 panels per shift, is proof of this. The key advantages are those of an extreme machining flexibility, a fixed and just in-time production flow and an excellent end product quality, thanks to the special features of the technological solutions on display.
