“nova si 4” is the new circular saw, developed by SCM for the advanced joinery, that combines high performance and maximum versatility to meet the operator’s specific needs.
The new highly reliable sliding carriage, guaranteed for 10 years, developed to enhance performance and customisation. Its closed reticular geometry provides top rigidity and minimal flexing. The carriage locking in any position makes the machine even more ergonomic and easy to use.
SCM nova si 4 is available with 3 control modes:
The distinctive feature is the maximum configurability thanks to the new options, derived from the advanced‑range “Class”, such as: Squaring frame with “Quick Lock” fence. Minimum set-up time with the SCM system that allows rapid fence positioning. The stronger frame support maximise performance.

SOLID AND STURDY STUCTURE
Made of a solid and sturdy structure, the saw blade unit enables an accurate cut. On request, the scoring unit (option) is available for a perfect cut even on veneered panels.
OPTIMAL SUPPORT
The squaring frame facilitates the panel loading and its mobile cross beams offer an optimal support also to smaller panels. Moreover, depending on customer’s demands, different optional squaring frame devices are available.
ALWAYS USER FRIENDLY
The hand-wheels on the machine front, for the saw blade unit moving, are easy to use; every minimum hand-wheel movement corresponds to an exact blade adjustment.
