SCM confirms its participation in the next XYLEXPO at Milan from May 8 to12, 2018, with the industry’s largest range of woodworking machinery and its new digital solutions. At the Xylexpo fair, SCM will have a unique 3,000 square meter stand, confirming its decades-long commitment to the Italian and European markets.
At January 23, SCM organized a press meet regarding the participation at Xylexpo. At the press meet, among the noteworthy speakers there were Luigi De Vito, Scm Wood Division and Sales & Marketing Group Director as well as Vice President of Eumabois, the European Federation of Woodworking Machinery Manufacturers also present at the programme.
“In 2017, the global GDP growth stood at 3.7% and that of the European Union at 2.3%,” says Mr De Vito at the last SCM Press Meet in Milanby Acimall (Association of Italian Manufacturers of Woodworking Machinery). “Based on a preliminary estimate made by Acimall, the Italian market of woodworking machinery and tools grew by 13%, a trend that is proof of the great efforts made by the woodworking and furniture industries to boost their competitiveness.” Mr. De Vito concluded.
